Why aftermarket parts sometimes are better than genuine parts
Photo shows universal joint for DPH. Right side is a genuine Volvo Penta sealing ring. If this one is used the seal lip will come exactly in same position as earlier where the wear on surface is marked with green color on photo. In this case there is a chance of further leak of oil into the bellow. The seal ring to the left has the seal lip 1mm different position comparing to original. .It will work in a new surface like in a new drive. We use this sealing ring.
