The DPG drive is exclusive to KAD 300. Many believe that the DPG drive is bad due to various breakdowns. This is not true. DPG has pretty much exactly the same parts inside as 290DPD / DPE. The difference is that the house is made a little different to get a larger exhaust outlet. Kad 300 is a stronger engine than eg KAD44. This is also what makes DPG a little tough, especially on heavier boats with single installation.
